Events — Philadelphia Bike Expo 2014
|The Philadelphia Bike Expo was back for its fifth year as one of the best cycling expos the East Coast has to offer. Founded by Bilenky Cycle Works in 2010, the expo has become an annual celebration of all things cycling. Highly-skilled frame builders and parts manufacturers, local shops and mechanics, cycling advocates and activists enthusiasts and more all gathered at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia for a weekend packed with events for everything pedal-powered.
Between the seminars, how-to sessions, demos, and parties, the convention center was packed full of bikes of all shapes and sizes. Fat bikes, mountain machines, state-of-the-art road racers, tandems, commuters, freak bikes, classics, and more, no niche is too big or small for the Philly Bike Expo. Bell’s Bike Shop was there the whole weekend and we managed to get some time to hit the convention floor and snap some photos of some of the different builders and booths that were there. All of the exhibitors were impressive in their own right, but some of our favorites included Winter Bicycles, Tommasini, the locals at Engin Cycles, and Velo Orange just to name a few. We’re looking forward to another solid expo in 2015. Check out the gallery below.
