Bike Build — Pake French 75

City Slamming Flyer –

A large majority of our customers here at Bell’s Bike Shop commute on their bicycles regularly. So when someone looks to us to build their ideal daily rider, we always make sure they get what they want. One of our customers recently had us build up the traditionally styled quick and aggressive Pake French 75 and it’s definitely one of our favorite fixed gear city bikes we’ve cranked out this summer.

A no frills frame that is suitable for the street but could throw down on the track, it’s manufactured with Tange 7005 series aluminum and comes with a Tange straight blade carbon fork. Opting for flat black, we built up a set of custom orange and black Velocity Aeroheads with Vittoria Rubinos to match, installed the reliable SRAM S-300 1.1 Crankset, got some lightweight Origin-8 components, put on a nice Brooks England B17 Narrow Saddle, and pieced the rest together to come up with this lightweight and responsive city bike.
